Jesse Jackson: "Slam-Dunk!"

I found this video on Tookie Williams' execution:
-Jesse Jackson asks a very important question:
"Why kill him 25 years later? He is no threat to society. What value is he dead?"

-I agree with Jackson (even if it's in a different context); Williams should have been killed 25 years ago on the day of his conviction. To keep Williams alive longer would allow him to eat better than citizens of 3rd world countries, pursue academic degrees, watch T.V., etc. all on the taxes the government collects over its people. With that being said, I'll have to pose a question for Jackson; what "value" is Williams if he stays alive?

-There is none. He murdered four people and it's a shame that it took so long to put him down like the animal he was.

Legalized Theft

-One of the many reasons why I will never vote for her - or for that matter - any liberal. Ever.
"I wanna take those profits and I wanna put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative, smart energy..."

There's nothing more to be said.

True Love

-I like this one.

-I've been really busy so far into the semester which is why I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to. I'm almost back on track.

Everyone Should Be Scared Of Freedom, Respect For Individual Rights And Massive Wealth

-Here it is, Hugo Chavez once again speaking out against freedom, and individual wealth:
"Nobody should allow themselves to be imbued with fear. If anybody should be scared, we should be scared of capitalism, which destroys society, people and the planet," said Chavez, speaking during his weekly television and radio program "Hello President."[Source:http://tinyurl.com/2hpsv9]

-Chavez is the only person that should be afraid of capitalism; it would put him out of business.

-Only time will tell if he decides to seize public land for "the common good"; I wouldn't put my money against it.

-Nationalization works, just look at how successful the USSR was.
