Sifting Around The Web 4

-Although I am by no means a libertarian, I am sad to say that I have learned that Milton Friedman has passed away at age 94. Friedman was a Nobel Peace Prize winning economist who advocated free-market economics and deregulation.

-Free-market advocates, like Friedman, are needed more now than ever. R.I.P buddy.
...

-Some people will publish anything to press the urgence of global warming. Anything.
...

-Today I learned that the 2.5 million-dollar winner/genius of Jeopardy!, Ken Jennings, has his own blog. I also noticed that he came out with his own trivia book as well. I'll have to get my hands on it sometime.
...

-Here's some searing factoids I've recently learned about "The religion of peace":
  1. More people are killed by Islamists each year than in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition combined.[source:http://tinyurl.com/fhltu]
  2. More civilians were killed by Muslim extremists in two hours on September 11th than in the 36 years of sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland.[source:http://tinyurl.com/zdg8p]
  3. Islamic terrorists murder more people every day than the Ku Klux Klan has in the last 50 years.[source:http://tinyurl.com/yrr7n]
  4. 19 Muslim hijackers killed more innocents in two hours on September 11th than the number of American criminals executed in the last 65 years.[source:http://tinyurl.com/frmtj]
-The link I provided at the top gives full detail about the evil acts that are committed in the name of allah everyday.

...

-I could literally spend hours watching and reading through the achives of The Middle East Media Research Institure TV Monitor Project, or otherwise known simply as "MEMRI". Now that I come to think of it, CNN had a showing with Glenn Beck last night called "Exposed: The Extremist Agenda". Even though I only saw the last half of the showing, it was enough for me. The level of Ahmedinijad's gall still amazes me. The president of Iran told Beck that he wanted peace of all people, etc. Footage from MEMRI was aired immediately after each of his statements/lies, and showed that he is full of shit. Even after this rare display of truthfulness, people will still not see the big picture.

...

I am also very anxious to report that a 34-year-old Ethiopian man was arrested at Detroit Metro Airport on Tuesday. The man was caught carrying $78,883 in cash. He was also found with a laptop containing questionable files about nuclear substances.

The Only Thing That's Getting Hotter Around Here Is Kofi Annan's Head

-According to CNN, Kofi Annan said that:
"...the U.N. conference on climate change Wednesday that those who would deny global warming or delay taking action against it are "out of step" and "out of time."

-He needs to take a look back at the 15,000 scientists that signed a petition in 1997 against the signing of the Kyoto treaty because "There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate."[source:http://capmag.com/article.asp?id=4674]

-Annan goes on:
"Let no one say we cannot afford to act," Annan declared. The United States, for one, contends that reducing global-warming gases would be too costly to its economy.

The U.N. chief lamented "a frightening lack of leadership" in fashioning next steps in mandatory reductions of global emissions. "I would want leaders around the world to really show courage and to know that if they do, their people and the voters will be with them," he told reporters after his speech."

-Of course The United Nations can "afford to act", it's funded mostly by America, the most prosperous nation to ever exist.

-"...the voters will be with them," he told reporters after his speech." The voters do not determine what is right and wrong. Remember that the "people" voted themselves into nazism. This is why most (if not all) politicians are incompetent; they are willing to please the majority to get into office. They think only along pragmatic lines; whatever gets them into office will is good enough for them.

-The case for global warming is completely unfounded. It is just a way to punish productivity - specifically American productivity. Don't believe the hype; look into the issue yourself.

America Needs To Start Condemning Evil For What It Is

-It seems that Donald Rumsfeld is now in the center of a legal battle involving his alleged "war crimes".
"The 220-page suit, which also names 13 other U.S. officials, was sent to federal prosecutors under a German law that allows the prosecution of war crimes regardless of where they were committed. It alleges that Rumsfeld personally ordered and condoned torture."

"Abu Ghraib is something that the U.S. government has investigated very thoroughly," Whitman said, noting more than a dozen probes as well as hearings before Congress. "The appropriate individuals have been held accountable."[source:http://tinyurl.com/y7v72o]

-These terrorists do not even attempt to partake - at all - within the guidelines of the Geneva Convention; why should America? Donald Rumsfeld, one of the United States' top officials, gets hauled into a pointless web of frivolous litigation by the international community over nothing more than frat pranks.

-It seems as if no politician or military general wants to condemn evil anymore. Liberals and Republicans alike assume that the mindset of a terrorist is "just a phase" and that the radical muslim's frame of mind can and will, eventually, be changed and even altered to love America; to "uphold the principles of democracy"; blah blah blah. Not once have I heard the words "individual rights", phrased together on any news station, when speaking of rebuilding Iraq. Yet the word "democracy" gets mentioned all the time.

-These politicians claim that "we must have tolerance" of this ruthless enemy and their foolish religion until they "understand the American way", etc. There's one bump in the road of justice however; the only objective islamic terrorists hold is the destruction of America and everything within it, including its citizens.

-The quotes below are just a mild reminder of what kind of fanatical mindset the United States is dealing with. There are, seemingly, an infinite amount of immoral quotes from the "holy" koran to be found. I've just listed these two below so that everyone can get a feel of what kind of evil we're facing.
"Slay them wherever you find them...Idolatry is worse than carnage...Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme." (Surah 2:190-)

"Make war on them until idolatry shall cease and God's religion shall reign supreme." (Surah 8:36-)[Source:http://tinyurl.com/yxod7r]

-The only way evil can is exist is by the good standing by trying to understand their mindset (A.K.A. doing absolutely nothing) and promoting forceful integration. These terrorists do not want peace. They want our heads. The most horrendous part of this entire ordeal is that fact that people like Robert Gates are going to allow it to happen. It is necessary for America to begin seeing the terrorists for what they are. It is time that America refrains from substituting the word "evil" with "confused", "ignorant" or "innocent". It is time that America begins to condemn and destroy evil; no other compromise can be made against an enemy so vicious.

-I'll end with a quote from none other than Ayn Rand:

-"Evil requires the sanction of the victim."[source:http://tinyurl.com/yak3nf]

-Don't let America tolerate the existence of this thriving, infectious evil. I know that I'm not going to.

Corrections:

(1)Added a source for Ayn Rand's quote.
(2)Added some more text into the second paragraph.
(3)Fixed a typo.
(4)Adjusted some content in the second paragraph.

The Quotable Cindy Sheehan

-It seems that Cindy Sheehan has outsmarted us all with her powerful, destructive rhetoric:
"Cindy said [she] not only wants to see George Bush impeached but she wants to see him tried for Crimes Against Humanity. She states is so determined to see this done she says she will live for 1000 years. She went further by saying that even if she were involved in a fiery plane crash she would walk out alive just to see this done.

Kristinn yelled out to her as she was leaving the stage that the Iraqis have a memorial to the victims of terrorism saying “Freedom Isn’t Free.” Cindy got back on the stage to say of course freedom is free, if it wasn’t it would be called expensivedom."

..."Expensivedom"?

-The death of her son was a tragedy. However, if he were here to see the circus acts that his mom was organizing, some how I doubt that he - a U.S. soldier - would be grateful. She's clearly gone haywire. Her kookiness cannot be solely contributed to her radical statements, but also to the people that she chooses - willingly - to associate herself with:

-No one in the right state of mind could ever take her seriously.

Viva La Resolucion!

-It looks like good ole' Fidel is on his last leg. When Fidel Castro finally does get to hell, I'm sure that Che' will be there waiting for him (probably on his knees).

-All I can say about Castro's upcoming death is that it is a small step towards Cuba's freedom.

...which translates to...

-Viva La Resolucion!

-I'm glad Castro keeps such good company.

Corrections:

(1)Substituted some "he"s and such with the words Castro, etc.
(2)Changed the title.
