10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Is Wrong

-I found this while roaming around the internet; I thought it would be good enough to post.

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Is Wrong:

1) Being gay is NOT natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage would be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

-Sounds good enough for me.

Thank You

-I want to say "Thank you" to every American veteran. Your protection of liberty - even if it is squandered from time to time - is still very much appreciated. Anyone who loves freedom and independence must agree.

-Remember that freedom doesn't come free.

And 'The Biggest Hypocrite To Ever Exist' Award Goes To...

...Ted Haggard.

-It now appears that Ted Haggard is on his way to an intense "Spiritual Restoration" process for his "sexual immorality". Earlier this month, Ted Haggard, the president of the National Association of Evangelicals, made headlines all across America for his involvement "...in a scandal involving drugs and allegations of gay sex..."[source:http://tinyurl.com/ybvqoj]. According to CNN, the 4-step plan of "Spiritual Restoration" calls for Haggard to "be humbled".

-I found this gem on Youtube:

-I think the whole world knows what you did last night, Ted.

-How dare he condemn homosexuals during the day while participating in their actions by night. God, he's such a deceitful bigot! When Ted Haggard acknowledges that he is nothing more than a miserable hypocrite - only then - will he be able to start making face for himself again (within his religious circles anyway; not with this guy ::points to myself::). Praying for forgiveness in order to cleanse the soul, etc. will not get anyone anywhere. Ever. But then again people like Ted Haggard do not focus on reality and the requirements of living within it.

Sifting Around The Web 3

-Victoria Bekiempis wrote another great article today about Saddam Hussein's fate and how liberty is impossile when living under a theocracy. I suggest to her that she submit this particular article to Capitalism Magazine as well.

...

-Gus Van Horn has written a very true sentiment towards the GOP party on his blog. I'm not sure why, but this specific article - to me anyways - makes a whole-lotta sense.

...

-Via LFG I have learned of the The Secretary Of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld's, resignation. Yet another pathetic victory for liberalism.

...

-Even though Andrew Dalton's posts on Witch Doctor Repellent are few and far between, when he does write something, it is always worth it.

...

-I cannot remember the last time Anton Thorn posted anything on his website. I did, however stumble across this dusty corner; the infamous "Christian Questionnaire". I think that even Jesus would have a tough time with some of these. The most satisfying aspect is that Anton Thorn is a fellow objectivist, making his claims and statements that much more ruinous. More than any other outlet I have found, Anton Thorn's website has helped me understand the rational approach to debating and arguing against religion. I thank God for his assistance and I pray to the the Lord that one day he will update his site. :)

...

-I will recommend, just like Reclaim Your Brain, that people everywhere should read Diana Hsieh's essay on "Why Be An Atheist?". The essay itself is very concise and intelligently written. It's a good start for anyone willing to think a little outside of their steeple.

...

-If you haven't - for some unknown reason - signed the petition against PETA (the same petition I linked up in my previous post yesterday), get to doing so. Also, if you happen catch yourself wondering "Does he really hate PETA enough to post about petitioning them twice within two days?" The answer is, without a doubt, "Yes he does."

...

-Read the above paragraph one more time.

...

-Sometimes when I get, I'll wandering through Capitalism Magazine's achives and read something I've never seen before, etc. All of the articles are good, but a very few percentage of all of the articles are as astounding as this one. "Buddha Bad for Business" by Wayne Dunn was written on April 30, 2004; a whole month before I graduated highschool. The article itself has been around forever and I honestly cannot believe I didn't stumble across it earlier.

...

-Man did I find the treasure chest. Fireflysun, a website dedicated - from what I can tell as of now - mostly to objectivist psychology. It has almost an infinite amount of essays ranging from current philosophical and psychological issues to news and commentary. I looks like I have a bunch of reading ahead of me.

...

-I thought that this photo was funny; I find myself going to Moonbattery more and more not only because of their humorous doctored photos but also because of the articles that go along so well with the pictures.

If You Love Human Life, Sign The Petition

-Whether you love animals or not, PETA is one of the most evil organizations on the planet:
"Our campaigns are always geared towards children and they always will be." - PETA Vice-President Dan Matthews, Fox News Channel (December 19, 2003) [source:http://tinyurl.com/669x3]

"Everything we do is based at adults." - PETA President Ingrid Newkirk denies targeting children on CNN (March 21, 2002) [source:http://tinyurl.com/669x3]

-I see that those two statements conflict; I didn't see that one coming or anything...

-I encourage each and every one of you to go to Petakillsanimals.com and investigate for yourselves the inner hatred that this organization has for human life. Go in and see who PETA actually does target. Sneak around for a little while and find out how PETA responses to questions and statements. Learn little know facts about this fanatical group. PETA is a very immoral institution that promotes violence and scare tactics to convey its foolish message of "animal liberation":
"It would be great if all the fast-food outlets, slaughterhouses, these laboratories and the banks who fund them exploded tomorrow." - Bruce Friedrich, PETA Campaign Director, July 3, 2001 [source:http://tinyurl.com/yl8fgj]

-
The violent quote above is just one of many that the representatives of PETA spout regularly. Believe it or not, you can help; please take seconds from your day and sign the petition to have PETA's tax-exemption status removed. The organization, as well as all of its members, is in need of a well deserved kick in the ass.

-This is a great website that provides tremendous insight on PETA's evil and hypocritical misdeeds. The website also provides up-to-date news articles involving PETA as well as Peta Kills Animals.

-If you're curious about where this website got it's name from, here's the answer.

...and if you're still not convinced of PETA's animal killings...

-Go here for some irrefutable evidence.

-If animals are being treated like animals you can bet PETA will have a poster protesting it. I thought this picture below was a good example, (plus I think it's kind of funny):

-Remember the movie about protesting called "P.C.U." with David Spade and Jeremy Piven? For some reason that movie keeps popping back and forth into my head now that I've finished this article...

Time For A Little Self Reflection...

-Even when I was little I had no idea of what I wanted to "do" with my life. All I knew was that I wanted to create; to bring ideas to life and watch my work come to life. My career choice is wide; it could range from inventing something to me operating a run-of-the-mill business. Just as long as I stay productive. However, my career path isn't that easy. I was majoring in economics at the college of business, but now I think I'm going to change that major for something more of my liking. I'm going to change my major to history. Hopefully I'll take that degree and go to law school afterwards. I know that being a lawyer is a full time job; I just hope that if another money-making opportunity comes up, it's not too late to pursue it. I guess the label of being one thing for the rest of my life makes me a little nervous; I want it all God damn it.

-Daniel

P.S. Writing about myself is a very rare occurrence. If you're worried about me turning this into some type of livejournal and writing about how depressed I am all the time and how Daddy never hugged me, stop. There's no need for that. :)

Completely Disappointed

-Today I learned of Saddam Hussein's plight. I am disappointed. They are going to execute him in the gallows. This method of capital punishment is very humane considering the man who were dealing with. The only way to properly hang him would be by his testicles. From what I've seen it looks like Gates Of Vienna feels the same as I do.

-Can you say "Goodbye Asshole"? I can.

Their Cartoon Wasn't That Good...

-Remember when Iran hosted the "International Holocaust Cartoon Contest"? Well, since Cox and Forkum didn't win with their submission, I kind of forgot about the whole thing until I found the winner:

-Be sure to remember that "...this particular cartoon isn't anti-Semitic." (Bold added.), according to some.

-Cox and Forkum's cartoon of Hitler had far more quality; I guess they didn't embrace the genocide enough to the liking of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Anyways, here's a couple more cartoons from that website that went into submission for the contest that caught my eye:

-It's almost sickening.
